How I Work

I am Rebecca—a psychologist, counsellor, and existential therapist working with clients worldwide in English and Swedish.

I believe therapy is a space for exploration, reflection, and growth, and I strive to create a warm, non-judgemental, and supportive environment where you feel safe to share openly. My approach is grounded in empathy, understanding, and a genuine commitment to your well-being.

Some people come to therapy feeling lost, unsure of how they arrived at this point, while others face clear but overwhelming struggles. Whatever brings you here, we will explore your experiences together, uncovering new insights and possibilities for growth.

Through open and compassionate dialogue, we will explore how you experience adversity, seek meaning, and relate to yourself, others, and the world around you. My role is not to provide answers but to support you in discovering your own.

My approach

I place great importance on building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and concerns freely.
Therapy provides a space to pause, reflect, and gain deeper insight into your life. My role is to support you in understanding what truly matters to you. Together, we will explore the patterns that shape your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours—helping you navigate challenges with greater clarity and self-awareness.

I primarily practise existential psychotherapy, but I also draw from other approaches to tailor therapy to your needs:

  • Systemic Therapy

Exploring relational patterns and the influence of family dynamics.

  • Psychoanalytic Therapy

Understanding unconscious patterns and the impact of early experiences.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Developing practical coping strategies to manage distress and promote well-being.

  • Humanistic Therapy

Encouraging self-growth, authenticity, and emotional well-being.

  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy

    Cultivating self-awareness, presence, and self-compassion.
